Panasonic Jaguar Racing recorded their second consecutive points finish in the FIA Formula E Monaco ePrix with Mitch and Adam finishing P10 and P14.
The team started with Mitch in P14 and Adam in P17 and planned an aggressive race strategy from the start on the famously challenging street circuit.
At the halfway point, the team took an opportunistic strategy decision following a competitor collision. The team reacted instantly, calling both drivers in early to complete their mandatory pit stops.

The safety car, however, was only deployed as the team entered the pit lane, meaning that Mitch re-joined the action behind the safety car, one lap down. He was eventually waved past but used valuable energy to re-join the pack.
James Barclay, Team Director, Panasonic Jaguar Racing: “Making our European debut and scoring a point in our first ever Monaco ePrix is special. We had an aggressive strategy, but unfortunately the safety car was deployed sooner than we anticipated and the gamble didn’t quite pay off. As a new team, it’s important that we try things like this when we can.”
Mitch Evans, #20: “We made up some places in the race and came away with valuable points for the second race in a row – we’re making solid progress. It’s great driving for a team that isn’t afraid to take advantage of on-track opportunities. It shows real racing spirit.”
Adam Carroll, #47: “Racing a technical circuit like this while managing your energy is challenging. Luck didn’t go our way but we focused on our racing and bringing the I‑TYPE home. A second consecutive points finish means a lot to the whole team.”
The team now makes the journey to Paris for the first back-to-back race weekend in the history of the sport.
James Barclay: “Mitch and Adam have been working hard with their engineers in the simulator, but nothing prepares you like experiencing the track for yourself. It promises to be another exciting weekend and I’m sure we will learn a lot from it.”
